Description

This function removes an existing logo or favicon.

Examples

Notes:

  • You must URI-encode values.
  • For more information and additional output options, read our Guide to WHM API 1 documentation or run the whmapi1 --help command.
  • If you run CloudLinux™, you must use the full path of the whmapi1 command:

    /usr/local/cpanel/bin/whmapi1

Use WHM's API Shell interface (WHM >> Home >> Development >> API Shell) to directly test WHM API calls.

 

Parameters

The file type to remove.

  • logo.png — Remove a .png cPanel logo file.
  • logo.svg — Remove a .svg cPanel logo file.

  • favicon.ico — Remove the favicon file.
  • webmail.png — Remove a .png Webmail logo file.
  • webmail.svg — Remove a .svg Webmail logo file.

Note:

We added support for SVG logos in cPanel & WHM version 60.

Returns

This function only returns metadata.
