Overview

This article explains how to set up an existing cPanel, WHM, or Webmail account on an iOS or Android device via the cPanel application (app). 

Important:

  • You cannot use this app to install cPanel & WHM.
  • cPanel Support does not provide assistance with the instructions in this article.

Note:

This guide is compatible with iOS 7.1

 

Download the cPanel app.

Download the cPanel app. To do this, perform the following steps:

  1. Tap App Store.
  2. Enter cPanel app in the Search text box.
  3. Locate the cPanel app and tap GET.
  4. After the app downloads, click INSTALL.


Open the cPanel app.

On your iOS device's main screen, tap cPanel.

The cPanel app's main interface will appear.




Enter server information.

Enter the information for your cPanel, WHM, or Webmail server. To do this, perform the following steps:

  1. Tap + in the upper-left corner of the home interface. The Settings interface will appear.
  2. Under the SERVER INFORMATION heading, tap the Service menu. A new interface will appear.

  3. Select one of the following services:

    • cPanel
    • WHM
    • Webmail

      Note:

      This option defaults to cPanel.

  4. Enter a name for the server in the Name text box.
  5. Enter the server's domain name in the Address text box.

    Note:

    This option is required.




Enter authentication information.

After you enter the server's information, enter the account's authentication information. To do this, perform the following steps:

  1. Under the AUTHENTICATION heading, enter the account's username in the Username text box.

    Note:

    This option is required.

  2. Enter the account's password in the Password text box.

    Note:

    This option is required.

  3. If you do not wish to use the TouchID option, tap TouchID to disable the TouchID option. If you do not use TouchID, you must enter your account's password each time that you access the account. For more information about TouchID, read Apple's® Use Touch ID on iPhone and iPad documentation.

    Note:

    This option defaults to On.

  4. After you enter the server's information, tap CONNECT. Your account's cPanel, WHM, or Webmail Home interface will appear.

 


 

Access your account.

To access the account after you add it to your cPanel app, perform the following steps:

  1. Tap the cPanel app. The main interface will appear and displays a list of available cPanel, WHM, and Webmail accounts.
  2. From the main interface, tap the account that you wish to access.
  3. When the system prompts you, enter the passcode in the Authentication text box.

  4. If you enabled the TouchID option, the system will prompt you for your fingerprint.

  5. Tap OK. Your account's cPanel, WHM, or Webmail Home interface will appear.

Note:

This guide is compatible with Android 4.0.

  

Download the cPanel app.

Download the cPanel app from iTunes. To do this, perform the following steps:

  1. Tap Play Store.
  2. Enter cPanel app in the Google Play text box.
  3. Locate the cPanel app in the list and tap the app name.
  4. After the app downloads, tap Install.




Open the cPanel app.

In the Applications interface, tap cPanel.

The home interface will appear.

 


 

Enter server information.

Enter the information for your cPanel, WHM, or Webmail server. To do this, perform the following steps:

  1. Tap + in the lower-right corner of the home interface. The Settings interface will appear.
  2. Under the SERVER INFORMATION heading, enter a name for the server in the Name text box.
  3. Enter the server's domain name in the Address text box.

    Note:

    This option is required.

  4. Tap the Service menu. A new interface will appear.

  5. Select one of the following services:

    • cPanel
    • WHM
    • Webmail

      Note:

      This option defaults to cPanel.

  6. Tap Confirm.

 


 

Enter authentication information.

After you enter the server's information, enter the account's authentication information. To do this, perform the following steps:

  1. Under the AUTHENTICATION heading, enter the account's username in the Username text box.

    Note:

    This option is required.

  2. Enter the account's password in the Password text box.

    Note:

    This option is required.

  3. Tap EasyLogin to set an alternate login method for your accounts and select one of the following services:

    • Password
    • PIN-code
    • Pattern

      Notes:

      • To use the PIN-code and Pattern methods, you must set the Secure Lock Screen function on your device.
      • This option defaults to Off.
  4. After you enter the server's information, tap CONNECT. Your account's cPanel, WHM, or Webmail Home interface will appear.

 


 

Access your account.

To access the account after you add it to your cPanel app, perform the following steps:

  1. Tap the cPanel app. The main interface will appear and displays a list of available cPanel, WHM, and Webmail accounts.
  2. From the main interface, tap the account that you wish to access.
  3. When the system prompts you, enter the PIN code, password, or pattern in the Authentication text box.
  4. Tap OK. Your account's cPanel, WHM, or Webmail Home interface will appear.
