For cPanel & WHM 11.42

(Home >> Security Center >> Manage root's SSH Keys)

This feature allows you to control existing SSH keys on your web server. You may also add and import new SSH keys to your server. When you manage your keys, you will find they are divided into public and private key sets on two separate lists.

Manage root's SSH Keys

  • Create a New SSH Key — This will generate an SSH key set, which will include both a public and a private key. To access this feature, click the Generate a New Key link.
  • Import an Existing SSH Key — This feature will allow you to paste an existing key set into the two text boxes to create the keys on the web server.
  • Manage Existing SSH Keys — You can delete, view, and authorize SSH keys on your web server with the two lists on the main Manage SSH Keys interface.
