(Home >> Service Configuration >> Exim Configuration Manager >> Advanced Editor)
This feature is intended for advanced users. Changes to the default configuration can significantly impact Exim's performance and may prevent it from operating altogether. Please exercise extreme caution when editing this file.
The advanced editor allows you to edit the default configuration of Exim. Configuration changes made within this editor will be conserved across Exim updates and reinstallation. More information about Exim's configuration syntax is available.
Edit with advanced editor
To edit with Exim's advanced editor:
- Click the Advanced Editor tab.
- Add or modify directives within the provided text boxes.
- Click Save.
Edits to the configuration file directly (
/etc/exim.conf) will only work temporarily because an update to Exim will result in the changes being overwritten.
